For the task we were asked to take an image in the style of Martin Parr that related to English traditions and English culture. I took my image of a cup of tea and a sausage sandwich in Paul's Cafe which is a little English like cafe situated in Burton.
My image is shown above. When I edited my image using photoshop I cropped it first and then edited the levels as my image was rather dark. I then adjusted the vibrancy and saturation as Martin Parr's images all tend to be bright and the colours are over exaggerated. To finish off my image I made a new layer, added a solid white border, then used gaussian blur to blur it, I finally changed the opacity of my border to make it less noticeable. I added the border as I thought it added a nice final finish to my image.
